You are as amazing as you let yourself be.

What’s holding you back from living your most vibrant life??

Is it self-doubt? Lack of confidence? Fear of failure? Afraid of change? Scared to try something new? I say to just GO FOR IT. Whatever new project you’ve been itching to start, don’t worry about not being perfect or good enough. Simply starting is half the battle. This attitude is so important when embarking on a new journey to living a healthier lifestyle.

One of the most powerful ways that you can help yourself onto a path of luminous health and well-being is to take charge of your own health and make the commitment to yourself to "go for it". Setbacks and failures will happen, but it's important to keep moving forward. It's what you do consistently that really matters. Getting up everyday with a renewed sense of purpose and determination is what will help solidify new habits into your daily lifestyle and routine.

Remember that we are all unique and require different things to thrive. We all have our own health and wellness habits: some people need daily HIIT workouts to feel energized, some people prefer walking or yoga; some people like a shot of espresso to start their day, while others enjoy a cup of soothing tea. Some people thrive in the morning while others come alive at night, and some people like to get lost in a book while others like to get out and explore. This also goes for food preferences, eating habits and daily lifestyle too. Just like the day-to-day may vary between each of us, our food preferences are also different too.

Our lives, experiences and bodies are totally individual, and everyone needs a customized approach to health that works for them. Whether you’ve gone plant-based or have recently decided to embark on a new health journey, listen to your body. Some people feel great eating gluten-free, some people thrive off of lots of fresh fruits and veggies, and some people might feel best eating more protein. We become so used to eating the same types of foods and might be used to feeling a certain way after our meals (maybe that means sluggish, bloated or tired for some), that it can be hard to change the status quo and adopt new habits that might make you feel way better.

Here are a few examples of some small changes you can add in to your daily life:

-If you’re a late night snacker, try swapping out your extra snacks for a tea instead.

-If dairy products leave you with stomach pain, try out a non-dairy milk in your cereal or coffee (like oat milk).

-Instead of a granola bar as a snack, have a handful of nuts or seeds, or grab a whole food ( like a banana, apple or orange).

-Incorporate Meatless Mondays to get yourself used to having some plant-based meals on occasion.

Don’t be afraid to venture a bit out of your comfort zone and try out something new. Who knows what you'll discover! I’ve noticed big changes in my energy and mental clarity as I’ve changed my diet and lifestyle habits over the past several years. The difference is incredible- I challenge you today to read up on a health-related topic that you’ve been wanting to learn about. As always, let me know if there’s something I can help you with!
